At the age of 17 she relocated to Texas where she recorded her first CD, hosted a music television show and studied communications at Texas University. Her music career led her to Miami in 2001 to become a part of the SONY family as one of the lead singers The New Miami Sound Machine a Latin girl group managed by Emilio Estefan, Glorias husband.
